At Sunbelt Hot Tubs LLC, we take pride in handcrafting every hot tub, swim spa, and cold plunge in Houston, Texas — and delivering it safely to your doorstep anywhere in the United States. This Shipping Policy outlines our processing times, delivery methods, costs, and what you can expect from the moment you place your order until your spa is ready for use.


1. Shipping Destinations

We proudly deliver to all 50 U.S. states, including:

  • Continental United States (lower 48 states)

  • Alaska (additional surcharge applies)

  • Hawaii (additional surcharge applies)

  • APO/FPO military addresses (where accessible by freight carrier)

International Shipping: At this time, we do not ship outside the United States. For inquiries about international freight forwarding, please contact us at info@sunbelthottubs.com.


2. Processing & Manufacturing Time

Because every Sunbelt product is handcrafted to order in our Houston, Texas facility, please allow time for production before shipment:

  • Hot Tubs (Lone Star Series): 2–4 weeks manufacturing + 7–14 business days shipping (Total: 3–6 weeks)

  • Texas Size 600 / Premium Spas: 3–5 weeks manufacturing + 7–14 business days shipping (Total: 4–7 weeks)

  • Swim Spas: 4–8 weeks manufacturing + 10–21 business days shipping (Total: 6–11 weeks)

  • Cold Plunge Pro: 1–2 weeks manufacturing + 5–10 business days shipping (Total: 2–4 weeks)

  • Walk-In Hydrotherapy Tubs: 2–3 weeks manufacturing + 7–14 business days shipping (Total: 3–5 weeks)

  • Parts & Accessories: 1–3 business days processing + 3–7 business days shipping (Total: 1–2 weeks)

Orders placed during high-demand seasons (Black Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th promotions) may experience extended manufacturing times. Customers are notified by email if their order is affected.


3. Shipping Costs

Free Curbside Delivery

We offer FREE curbside delivery to all 50 states on hot tubs, swim spas, and cold plunges. There are no hidden freight surcharges for the continental U.S.

Premium Delivery Add-Ons (Optional)

  • White-Glove Delivery: $499 – $899 — Carrier brings tub to backyard / placement area

  • Crane Service: Quote on request — Required for tubs that cannot fit through gates or yards

  • Old Tub Removal: $299 — We haul away your existing hot tub

  • Electrical Hookup Coordination: Free quote — We connect you with licensed local electricians

Alaska & Hawaii Surcharges

  • Alaska: Additional $1,200 – $2,400 freight surcharge

  • Hawaii: Additional $1,800 – $3,500 freight surcharge (port + island delivery)

Exact freight charges for AK/HI are calculated at checkout based on ZIP code.

Parts & Accessories Shipping

  • Standard Ground (5–7 business days): $9.99 – $49.99 based on weight

  • Expedited (2–3 business days): $19.99 – $89.99

  • Free shipping on parts orders over $250


4. How We Ship

Hot Tubs & Large Items (LTL Freight)

All hot tubs, swim spas, and cold plunges ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight carriers including:

  • Estes Express

  • R+L Carriers

  • XPO Logistics

  • Old Dominion Freight Line

Your tub will be securely strapped to a wooden pallet and protected with industrial shrink wrap during transit.

Parts & Accessories

Smaller items ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail, depending on size and destination.


5. Delivery Process

Step 1: Order Confirmation

Within 24 hours of placing your order, you'll receive an email confirmation with your order number and estimated production timeline.

Step 2: Production Updates

We'll send you milestone updates via email during manufacturing:

  • Production started

  • Tub completed and inspected

  • Loaded for shipment

Step 3: Shipping Notification

Once your tub leaves our Houston facility, you'll receive:

  • Tracking number with the freight carrier

  • Estimated arrival date

  • Carrier contact information

Step 4: Delivery Appointment

Important: Freight carriers will call you 24–48 hours in advance to schedule a delivery window. Someone age 18 or older must be present to:

  • Sign for the delivery

  • Inspect the shipment for visible damage

  • Direct placement (for curbside delivery)

Step 5: Inspection & Acceptance

Upon delivery, you (or your representative) MUST:

  1. Inspect the crate/pallet for visible exterior damage

  2. Note any damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing

  3. Take photos of any damage immediately

  4. Refuse delivery only if damage is severe (contact us first if possible)

Failure to note damage on the BOL waives your right to file a freight claim. This is critical — please read this section carefully.


6. What Curbside Delivery Means

Curbside delivery is the freight industry standard for large items. Here's what it includes — and what it doesn't:

Included in Free Curbside Delivery

  • Drop-off at the end of your driveway or curb

  • Use of a lift gate to lower the tub from the truck

  • Pallet placement on a flat, accessible surface

NOT Included in Free Curbside Delivery

  • Moving the tub through gates, around homes, or into backyards

  • Removing packaging materials

  • Installation or electrical hookup

  • Filling with water

  • Removal of existing hot tubs

For backyard placement, please order our White-Glove Delivery add-on at checkout.


7. Preparing for Your Delivery

Please ensure the following before delivery day:

Access Requirements

  • Truck access: Standard freight trucks are 53 feet long and require clear access

  • Driveway clearance: Minimum 10 feet wide, free of low-hanging branches

  • Pad/Surface: Your hot tub installation site must be ready (level concrete, gravel, or reinforced deck)

  • Path width: If moving the tub yourself, ensure pathways are at least 6 inches wider than the tub

Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Electrical outlet installed by licensed electrician (240V/50A or 240V/60A depending on model)

  • Level surface prepared (concrete pad recommended; minimum 4 inches thick)

  • Garden hose access for filling

  • Drainage plan in place

  • HOA permissions confirmed (if applicable)

8. Failed Delivery & Redelivery Fees

If a freight carrier attempts delivery and is unable to complete it due to customer-side issues (no one present, access blocked, refused without cause, wrong address), the following fees apply:

  • Missed delivery appointment: $150 storage + $250 redelivery

  • Address change after shipment: $200 reroute fee + freight difference

  • Refused delivery without valid damage cause: Return freight + 20% restocking fee

To avoid fees, please respond promptly to carrier calls and ensure all access requirements are met.


9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

Visible Damage Upon Delivery

  1. Note all damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves

  2. Take clear photos of damage from multiple angles

  3. Contact Sunbelt Hot Tubs within 24 hours at info@sunbelthottubs.com or (281) 575-9814

  4. We will file a freight claim and arrange replacement parts or a full replacement at no cost to you

Concealed Damage (Not Visible at Delivery)

  • Must be reported within 5 business days of delivery

  • Take photos, retain all packaging materials

  • Email info@sunbelthottubs.com with photos and order number

Lost Shipments

If your tracking shows no movement for 7+ business days, contact us. We will work with the carrier to locate your shipment or expedite a replacement.


10. Order Cancellations & Changes

Before Production Begins (within 48 hours of order)

  • Full refund, no fees

After Production Begins, Before Shipment

  • 25% cancellation fee (covers labor and custom materials)

After Shipment

  • Cancellations not accepted once tub leaves our facility

  • See our Return Policy for return options

Address or Specification Changes

Changes are permitted only if production has not yet begun. Email info@sunbelthottubs.com immediately if a change is needed.


11. Shipping to Remote or Restricted Areas

Additional charges or extended delivery times may apply for:

  • Mountain or rural areas with limited freight access

  • Island destinations (excluding Hawaii standard surcharge)

  • Construction sites or commercial properties

  • Gated communities or HOA-restricted areas requiring special permits

  • Ferry-only access locations

Our shipping team will contact you with any additional charges before processing your order.

13. Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination. As a Texas-registered LLC (EIN: 81-1496264), we collect tax in compliance with each state's nexus laws.
